My Story
After realizing mechanical engineering wasn't for him, Justin earned his bachelor's degree in percussion performance from Wichita State University (WSU) in 2014, studying under Gerald "Jerry" Scholl. Upon graduation, Justin began working as the music director at Holy Savior Catholic Church, directing and accompanying his gospel choir on piano, and also playing and singing for weddings and funerals. He also has been working with the Derby High School Marching Panther Band as an assistant drumline coach; this year will be his 8th season with his alma mater's music program!

Currently, Justin is pursuing a master's degree in percussion performance at WSU. He just performed his graduate marimba recital April 1 and April 3 with great accolades and reviews!
